About

Julia Wu

I’ve spent 12 years growing consumer apps, most of them in the health and wellness space. For the last 7 years I’ve been at Happier Meditation (formerly Ten Percent Happier). There I’ve led marketing reporting to the CEO, led the 2024 brand relaunch, built paid acquisition and lifecycle, and run our live coaching business with its own P&L.

I like work that moves between leading and doing. I’ve led teams of up to nine across acquisition, lifecycle, partnerships and creative, and managed growth, SEO and PR agencies. For the past year and a half, I’ve been a marketing team of one, building with AI and running everything from strategy and brand to growth, lifecycle, organic and analytics.

Outside work, I serve on the boards of the Insight Meditation Society, the Thomas Crane Public Library and the Blue Hills Cycling Club. If you can’t tell from the site, I’m an avid cyclist. I also love trying new food (especially fruit), and I’m an aspiring hobby farmer. Ask me about my quail.
